HORSE BRASS MOUNTS
IN GOOD QUALITY LEATHER A B Large Small     Brasses not included Way back in the time when the Romany gypsies had there horse drawn caravans ( yes its history again!) The horses and caravans where decorated with leather mounted Brass ornaments I believe they were intended to keep evil spirits away (So supposedly if you hang one off these each side off your drinks cabinet it should stop somebody sticking cheep licker in there?) Actually they where lucky charms or used to ward off the evil eye (which is what you get if you stop your mother-in law getting in to your Drinks cabinet!) Off course a lot of people have them because they look nice. But some are let down by the cardboard or poor quality leather mounts. HERE AT WOODPECKERLEATHERS We don't think you should spend all that money on making a room that looks old and atmospheric with old brass ornaments only to have it all let down by hanging to manky bits of cardboard made to look like to manky bits of leather The horse brass mounts we make here are cut from good quality leather (Traditionally they are made in black but we also make them in brown) Available in two styles and mount from 1 to 8 brasses and fitted with a brass dee to hang them with. The edges are rounded creased and finished with black edging. The smaller versions will be available ready made but the big ones between 5 to 8 will be made to order go to Brass mount order form link from this page.
